Located off the coast of northwestern Africa the Canary Islands, a Spanish archipelago, are an Atlantic gem of white sand beaches, turquoise waters, rugged volcanic coastlines and lush mountains. Formed by volcanic eruptions millions of years past, Tenerife, the largest of the islands, is shadowed by the Mount Teide volcano.

The itinerary is brief, as we never know exactly where our journey will take us. Due to our style of travel and the regions we visit, travel can be unpredictable. The Trip Details document is a general guide to the tour and region and any mention of specific destinations or wildlife is by no means a guarantee that they will be visited or encountered. Aboard expedition trips visits to research stations depend on final permission.

OPTIONAL ACTIVITIES NOTE:
During high season in Europe (May-October) we highly recommend booking reservations for any popular optional activities/museum tickets etc. in advance to avoid encountering sold-out activities on the ground while on tour.
BOOKING FLIGHTS
When booking flights, please note there are two airports serving Tenerife. Tenerife North Airport (TFN) is most convenient for joining your adventure in Puerto de la Cruz, and Tenerife South Airport (TFS) is closer to your finishing point in Costa Adeje.
