Did Anyone Get More Barreled Than Tosh Tudor in 2025?

Pipeline, Teahupo'o, Mullaghmore and Indonesian points. Tosh Tudor had a remarkable run of waves in...

It’s been a bountiful year of barrels for Tosh Tudor. He started in Hawaii, taking in the swell-bender of the year on the North Shore. Numerous Pipeline tubes fueled a great Snapt5 part. He went to Ireland and scored more left-hand cones. Indonesia beckoned in the spring, and Tosh locked in to Desert Point. An absurd Teahupo’o session in August capped off his best film to date.

You get the picture. 2025 was a banner year for Tosh. The young goofyfoot just dropped a stunner of a highlight reel of his best work in the last 365 days. It’s only 5 minutes and 12 seconds, but there’s no fluff. Just thick, sturdy barrels.

One aspect that separates Tosh from the pack is his blending of old and contemporary aesthetics. It’s not just his positioning and posture; it’s the boards he’s on. He draws influence from previous generations of surfboard designs (consider his family pedigree) and merges them with modern contours and fin placement. Tell me that widepoint forward, longer rail line doesn’t make those early entries look so damn fun.

The fact that Tosh has logged this much mileage under the lip before he turned 21 years old is remarkable. I'm not sure what he has planned in 2026, but I know it will be worth watching.
