It’s Valentine’s Day, which means skate dates are happening all over the world! Okay, maybe they are, maybe they aren’t—but either way, this list is here to spark some inspiration.
Whether you're cruising through your favorite skatepark, watching classic skate videos, or exchanging gifts at your local shop, there’s no better way to celebrate that special someone than with a day of skating and good vibes.
What better way to show your love for each other than getting creative and stacking some clips together? It could be a synchronized trick, a fun doubles line, or, hey, maybe you want to celebrate some slams! Filming a doubles edit makes for a great memory either way. Trust me, your friends and other couples will be super envious after watching you and your loved one lighting up the screen!

Need a fun way to exchange some gifts with each other? Roll down to your favorite skateshop and surprise each other with something small—maybe some grip or bearings, a fresh beanie, a new board, perhaps? Whatever it is, just make it fun. Skateboarders can never have enough stuff! Bonus points if it's something either of you have been eyeing or hinting at recently.

This one is sort of a no-brainer, which is why it's a mandatory addition to this list! Hit up your go-to skatepark or better yet, make it special by skating somewhere new. It could be the perfect place to film that doubles clip, too. Just saying! Pump tracks are a great place for couples to go and enjoy a day of cruising as well. No tricks, no problem! As long as you're together and enjoying the session, well, that's really all that matters.

Is the weather ruining your Valentine's Day skate date? It happens. But that doesn't mean you can't still enjoy the day! Cozy up and watch some classic skate videos or your favorite go-to parts. Have some DVDs or VHS tapes? Even better! Nostalgia always wins. Sit down, press play and watch the entire video (like we used to do before the Internet destroyed our attention spans). For those of you lucky enough to have good weather, this might be the best option on the list! Pack some snacks and set up a little picnic at a fun street spot, DIY park, your favorite curb—wherever the session takes you. Skate, eat, and hang out—it’s the ultimate low-key skate date and a perfect way to spend time together while doing what you love. Want to take it up a notch? Bring a portable BBQ and make an entire afternoon out of it.
Maybe you work during the day, or maybe other plans simply got in the way. It's all good! You skate-daters can wrap up the day with a sunset roll or a night sesh at your favorite skatepark or spot. Go rip through the streets of downtown or shoot, just cruise around an empty, well-lit parking lot. At any rate, it’s the perfect way to end the date on a high note.
