As far as I'm concerned, Andy Jenkins should be a household name if you're a skateboarder!
The renowned artist—respectfully known for creating some of the most iconic "skate art" from the 90s to now—recently blessed the Redondo Beach Skatepark in Southern California with an artistic makeover of sorts, and the end result is absolutely incredible. This looked like quite the project! Peep some photos and videos below, along with some words from Andy.

In his post on Instagram, he went on to thank quite a heavy list of individuals for helping bring this project to life:
"It’s done," he mentions. "Big thanks to @gquon for sticking it out and putting down the prettiest lines. Thanks to @emmetjenks for dealing with bucket loads of primer. Thanks to @cmglovesyou for chipping in and providing a soundtrack. Thanks to @kelleyhartcustomcookies and Jennifer DeJesus for their brush work. Thanks to all the locals and strollers by for the positive responses. Thanks to @dbernier3 for being such a great advocate (and for the donuts). Thanks to @girlskateboards for recommending me in the first place. Thanks to all my friends that dropped by. Thanks to the @cityofrb and the @redondobeach_skatepark for all their patience. Thanks to the RB Public Works for putting up with us. Big today m#hanks to @crailringer for putting up with me. Thanks @chopperdave for the @marshallamps mini speaker. Thanks to @animalchan and @marc_wierenga for the photos. Thanks the @theslipredondo for their killer grilled cheese sandwiches. And thanks to my back and knees for holding up."

From his work at Girl and a handful of other brands, to plenty of amazing work stretching far beyond skateboarding, Andy Jenkins is just one of those dudes who just has it. His creativity and passion both speak for themselves and you can just tell that he genuinely loves what he does.
Not every artist out there—especially in skateboarding—can keep gas in the tank for as long as Andy has. That says more than I ever could. He's a real one and the already-ripping Redondo park just got even better!
