Mountain High Resort in Southern California opens its new lift-serviced bike park this month, adding to its summer operations in Angeles National Forest, 74-miles northeast of Los Angeles.
Mountain High Resort Bike Park in Wrightwood opens June 14 and will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Oct. 12.
“This is an incredibly exciting time and I thank the Forest Service along with everyone else who helped get us here," said Ben Smith, Vice President and General Manager.
The park launches with three trails accessed via the Blue Ridge Express lift. The bike park’s Phase 1 is expected to be completed this season with a total of eight trails. Phase 2 will add five more trails for the summer of 2026. Phase 3 is scheduled for 2027 and will add another five miles of advanced terrain.

The three trails open June 14 are Lil Pines, a green 2.4-mile run; Break Away, a 0.22-mile-long blue trail with rollers and step-down jumps; and Coyote Creek, a 3.2-mile-long technical run with tight turns and larger jumps.
Mountain High Resort will also add a skills park with rollers, small jumps, wooden planks, and platforms with small drops for those new to the sport to familiarize themselves with some of the bike park trails' features. Bike rentals will also be available.
