Moments From Tokyo — Sakura Sake Tour Episode 2 Photo Gallery

Ever since we took this trip, any chance I get to bring up to people how rad Japan is, I always rant about how "You gotta go!" It's crazy how many times most skaters have gone to Europe, but haven't made it over to Japan, especially West Coasters. Anywho, here are some photos shot on our second day in Japan—all shot in Tokyo. I love the memories these photos bring back. I seriously can't wait to go back!

This was actually at a flatground, warm-up spot, but there happened to be a nice, small flatbar for Yiyo to get busy one.

Our train ride out to one of the spots rolled by a major car meet.

What's more "Tokyo Drift" than passing by a major Japanese modified car meet? These aren't "imports" here.

Even the trains in Japan are cooler.

Jefferson "Yiyo" Obando stretches out a 360 flip to clear the corner gap.

This gap was a trip: Right along the river, you had to push up the bike/walking path, then there was a natural bump to a right-hand angle over the stairs to flat. Took some adjusting for sure!

Brandon Bonner, frontside flip over the corner to flat.

As the sun dipped, it was a good opportunity to slow down the shutter speed and experiment with the light. Brandon Bonner is a machine.
