Jackson Goldstone is on a dominant winning streak right now, and he’s back with another course preview of the newest UCI DH World Cup track in La Thuile, Italy, to give us a look at this insane new track that the fastest mountain bike athletes in the world will be racing this weekend.
Nestled beneath the towering Mont Blanc, this new course debuts in the fifth round of the 2025 UCI DH World Cup and is among the longest on the race schedule. It begins with high-speed, flat corners, features significant vertical drops, and transitions into wooded sections. The trail becomes rocky, rooty, and natural, offering a challenging experience for both rider and bike.
“This is a brand new track, top-to-bottom, and one of the sickest ones we’ve ever seen, I think,” Says Goldstone after dropping in. “It’s super, super loamy the whole way down, and as you can see, it drops off the face of the earth here - She’s steep!”
As this is an entirely new track for every rider on the course, there's no doubt that it will make for some incredibly exciting racing this weekend. Given the blistering speeds at which Jackson Goldstone can ride this course on just his second run, will we see him take another victory?
