With a bounty of swell coinciding with idyllic autumn conditions, the classic Northern California surf...

Santa Cruz in the fall, there really is no better place to be if you're a California surfer. Sure, points south have their moments. Rincon awoke from its slumber for a hot minute. But when it comes to consistently good surf, it's hard to beat the west side of Santa Cruz and the bounty of options north of town.

"We've had a really good run," testifies lensman Ryan "Chachi" Craig. "It wasn't necessarily big, but there were so many waves everywhere, the conditions saw that perfect fall weather, it's such a special time of year up here."
